I have an lg envoy III and I fell into the river with it in my phone….I took out the battery right away and put it in rice. It turns on and works I can receive phone calls but I cannot see my inside screen it’s there anyway to fix that without getting a new phone
@brookemichele great that you removed the battery. Rice does not work it does not do anything. You will have to disassemble your phone and clean everything with isorpopyl alcohol. Use this guide for that. After that replace your battery and reasemble your phone. Evaluate the damage. It is possible that this is a failed LCD but it is also possible that it is a shortcircuit on your logic board. Until you clean your phone, it will only be a guess.
