Chosen Solution

I’ve been having this problem with the TV for a while, but it happened so sparingly that I didn’t really need to do anything about it. It’s been happening way too frequently to be ignored now, though. Once in a while when watching youtube videos in fullscreen, the TV will go black but the sound will continue working. I can pull up the input select screen and chose another input, and then go right back to the original input and get picture again. It also happens when I go into dark places in Rust, or when I’m playing Binding of Isaac in fullscreen. My solution was to play in borderless fullscreen, and that seemed to work for a time, but now it just happens whenever it feels like it now. It still won’t turn off when I’m looking at a bright screen, but it happens a lot in games where it can get dark. It’s a Hisense 43H6E

Hi, Have you tried different picture settings to see if this does anything, e.g. games or sports mode? If connected to the signal source via HDMI have you tried changing the format under the HDMI 2.0 setting e.g. standard or enhanced? Here’s a link to the TV’s user guide that shows how to get to the settings etc.
