I’ve set the reset but it only flashes a white apple symbol screen and back to black repeatedly. How do i fix it? I have an extra phone for parts.
This unit has a bad Eeprom at its best. The second problem, a bad led is causing the flashing you mentioned. These are the two things that can cause the flashing you speak of. I would say a bad LED, in this case. Repacing an LED or Eeprom is nearly impossible. All components are micro chip and stamped into place. Next option, is buy new.
