Lately my phone got water damaged, my screen was half dimmed and i went to a store and they replaced the back light but it made no change, so i suggest them to check the wires and etc. and they checked them and the problem is solved. But now the screen malfunctions like the attached photo. If i press power button it goes to normal state, but after some minutes of using the phone, it switches sides again. Touch screen is not switched. It works like the screen is fine. Just the display order is switched. Even if i take a screenshot, it displays properly when there is no problem with the screen. I tried hard reset and resetting all settings. And I’m not sure if this is related but my home button and touch ID works randomly. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. I will be thankful of any advices.
There could be a handful of issues here, most of them probably have to do with the liquid damage. What do you mean they replaced your backlight? Did they replace the screen or did they do some work on the board? EDIT By the sounds of it, they didn’t do what they advertised. As I mentioned in a response below, I would’ve just replaced the whole display rather than just the backlight layer. Typically when I see a misaligned image like that, it is related to the LCD but I don’t think the backlight was responsible for your issue. I would seek a refund and go elsewhere and if you can, check their ratings.
Thanks for your reply @hootonberg, as I know there is 3 layers that makes the iPhone 7 screen here is a video that shows and explain the backlight part: https://youtu.be/8OH4IfNXnR8 they didn’t replace the entire LCD, just the backlight layer
