Screen Has Lines Through It Psp 3000

I opened up the PSP to clean it because it was full of gunk and after putting it back together the screen has now got lines all through it. I opened it up again to make sure the ribbon cables are all in properly and they are. Did I press to hard on the screen when I was wiping it clean or is there something I can do to fix this?

I would agree that this looks like a bad cable connection. I would make sure they are clean and secure again before looking at replacing screen.

@fliggle_slaps that line pattern looks like a bad screen and not the connector. IT’s to fine for the connector. Replace the screen and re-evaluate.

I think i would agree with you here that the screen did broke from mishandle. I think thats how tft lcd degrades, with streaks of white lines. Also the psp 3000 is old enough to be a teenager don’t beat yourself about it, save a little money and buy a replacement if you want it to be replaced. Good luck on your journey!
