I recently moved and during the moving process something happened to my tv. After finally getting it set up, I turned it on and noticed several lines and what looked to be a crack on the right side of the screen. When I touched the screen to see if it was cracked it wasn’t. Can I fix this myself?
@datch214 definitely a cracked LCD. Yes you could repair this yourself if you can find a new LCD. Those are not easy to find and are more expensive than a new TV. To try to get the proper LCD, take the data from the manufacturer label from the back of the panel. Do a search with that data and see what you can find. The only other way would be to find the same model TV as yours but is broken due to other reasons. Then harvest the LCD from that.
