Chosen Solution

I purchased my Acer Iconia B1-730HD-17A4 7-Inch HD Tablet with Intel Atom processor 5 months ago. Worked great until recently. My screen will all of a sudden start going white in the corners then gradually the entire screen goes white. I have to click the on button to get it working but then it fades out again. This happens indoors or outside, so not a hot\cold sensitivity issue. Very frustrating. Whats causing this?

Try this first;

  1. With the tab off,Press Vol-up and Power
  2. If display goes on: Release power but hold vol-up
  3. Toggle Lock screen switch (On>Off>On>Off) This will make the tab go thought the factory reset protocol. If it doesn’t work, you probably have a bad display, nothing much to do, you’ve got to change it.

its not working… i will try it but vain nothing is shown on my screen more then a spark white and black…its furstated… :/
