Chosen Solution
I have a 10 year old Toshiba laptop that hasn’t been used in a couple years. It turns on just fine and let’s me login but once I hit enter to login the screen just goes black. I’ve tried the shift, F8, power button several times and taken the battery out and it still does nothing. I can pull up the task manager and my screensaver even comes up after it’s been sitting. I can’t figure out what else I need to do to, any ideas?
Hi @emem20 , Here’s a link that may help. At Step.1 click on the After signing in to Windows, I see a black or blank screen option and see if any of the suggestions resolve the problem.
