Chosen Solution
Had screen replacement done on S8+ with battery placement. Since it was done the screen has been turning “off” randomly. The notification lights will still be on. Only a soft reboot will turn it off. I know the phone is still on because i can hear the shutter sound go off for a screen shot when im rebooting the phone. Is it a bad screen?
It’s a bad screen, if you took it to a repair shop to get it fixed they should have warranty for it.
