A few days ago my iPad started to have a weird effect on the shadows, highlight and colour of images. Now if the image is dark you can hardly see something in the foreground only an outline. Also stransparent images in the background. Sites and platforms that I have have been on earlier are still on the screen. For example I am on instagram for a bit and then I switch to another app or something you can see a transparent logo in the background and also effects the colour and shadows ect of the screen. I have updated my iPad after hoping it would solve this but it would not. I have restarted it multiple times and I have also done a factory reset.
From what you are describing, you are have an LCD issue with your device. Time to get your tools out a perform an LCD repair. The images staying on the screen are burnt images. Remove the digitized and put in an new LCD. Your device will be as good as new. Replacement parts and guides are easily available on iFixit.
