Chosen Solution
A while back, my screen started flickering. It started as just a couple of lines, and if I adjusted the angle then it would go away. Now it’ takes up the whole screen and won’t go away. I’ve tried the apple route - I’m out of warranty and they quoted me over 1300 pounds, not fair. This could be unrelated but adding for context anyway - today when I turned it on there was a loud buzzing sound, maybe a fan crashing to a halt? Anyway, when I turn it on and use an external monitor it’s fine. One more - I was having battery problems (laptop not retaining power) but they seem to have gone now that I’ve switched charger. I think my problem is a loose connection, and from my research it sounds like I might need a new screen, fine. Can anyone confirm this and point me to a reputable place in the UK that sells replacement screens? Any help is much appreciated, god speed!
Is the image on an external display clean? If it is you’ve verified the internal display has a problem!
