Chosen Solution
The iPod fell, it had a crack across the screen it worked fine until the screen went completely black, it stoped giving power to it. Made the screen useless it works i can sync it to my i tunes and what not.
@sik24 , David , At the 1st link below, you can select your model and click on the appropriate guide to see how screen is replaced. At the 2nd link you can choose your device to see if replacement part is available through the ifixit store and if not just do a google search for your part. Good luck.
