So my Xperia Z3 is just over 2 years old now and I have noticed that the top left-hand corner of the screen has separated from the frame. Is there any way to temporarily fix it without ruining repairablility in the future?
Why not just use sticky tape to keep it together? if it’s transparent enough, it might even not trigger the proximity sensor. In any case, it will avoid more dust getting in which will progressively stick to the glue holding the screen to the frame, separating the screen more and more. The repair will mean changing the glue between the screen and frame, which means following most of the screen replacement guide.
