I have 13” MacBook A2179 (Intel) with faulty screen. I think some tried a replacement and screw it up. I found a 13” MacBook Air model A2337 (M1 SoC) with faulty logic board bad USB-C charger fried the board now. I want to swap screen is it possible? All the connector and the hinges are the same, can anyone help? Thnx
I was try lcd a2179 to a2337. Just restart continues, but no display or light on screen. I’m buy lcd a2179 used condition
Sorry, its going to be awhile before we get the part numbers for the M1 models so we can cross-check to the Intel models, here’s the listing for the Intel A2179 models: Space Grey Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-15389Silver Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-15390Gold Display Assembly, Apple P/N 661-15391 I do think Apple kept the display as so much of the two systems are alike (other than the logic board). It’s still a gamble! If you need to get this going now.
