my ipad screen is cracked around the edges and has dead spots. Will replacing the screen solve dead spots or is this another problem altogether.
If you mean “dead spots” as in the touch screen doesn’t work, yes replacing the digitizer/glass should fix that issue. If the “dead spots” are black/discolored spots of bad pixels then you’ll also need to replace the display panel underneath.
