Hello everyone, I just replaced the LCD for iPhone 7 Plus and tested. When I turned on, the screen (right bottom side) got dark…what are the potential reasons for this…? i don’t think I damaged any parts while replacing and I have never had this issue before while working on other phones. Just in case, I used an extra LCD screen for this but the result was the same…so I don’t think it’s because of the bad lcd screen… thank you for your time!
Check your display connector for any damage or dirt
check first dirt/debris in the connectors. if everything is clean and no damage it may be a board issue. test with the original screen if you can and see if it happens. if original screen lcd was damaged/non functional then it may be safe to say it’s a board issue, though you could probably try 1 more screen just to be safe.
