Chosen Solution
So I have this Asus laptop that turns into a tablet and it works great but the screen (about 10 secs after starting up) turns to a light green tent and then any image on the screen will remain on screen in a light tent like a stain on the screen. Cloths become purple and when you scroll it leaves like a trail. Any idea’s to what it might be would be very helpful and i’m new to the ifixit forums but i love their screw driver sets. If there is any info i missed that would help further the repair let me know.
I had this problem also. The fix? I don’t know. It fixed itself! I was on a tight budget and couldn’t get it repaired so I just used the HDMI port which wasn’t affected. About two months later after a re-boot the problem was gone. That was a year ago. It’s been fine since.
