somewhat similar problem i m facing i hve sony bravia 50 inch model KDL-50W800D its just 2 years and 2 months old-when i m turning on the TV the screen appears all white and then fades into black and thereafter Red light starts bling for 5 times in a row contact customer care and technician visited and said its Tcon error and it will require 5 days to get the repair done-it was last Saturday thereafter still no call from them can anyone suggest any way out?
Sb Basu yes it is possible that this is a t-con error. Not sure how to help you other than suggesting to change it and re-evaluate.
Same problem with me also in Sony bravia W800 43 inch tv white light and after that 5 times led red light blinks after a period. What to Do ? Technician is telling we have to open pannel. The problem is in the pannel. And he told I have to take tv to my workshop what. And 5000 rupees cost should I handover him tv. Will he rob the parts of tv?
