I am wondering what could cause my note’s screen to have 1/3 of the screen at proper color, but the 2/3 is slightly darker. Can I fix such an issue without replacing the screen and battery? I was quoted by a repair service $300 ish for replacing the screen and battery to fix it, so trying to decide if to just upgrade to a new phone or try to DIY if I can fix it.
Mica Busby this “1/3 of the screen at proper color, but the 2/3 is slightly darker” does sound like a display issue. Unlikely that you can get a software fix etc. top resolve this. The only options really are you spend lots of money for a new display or you just learn to live with it if you can still see things on your screen.
