Chosen Solution
I received a Sanyo DP39E23-00 as a gift awhile back. I watched it for about 2 months. Then one day when I was watching it,it just shut off. I thought I was maybe sitting on the remote but no it just died on it’s own. I tried turning it back on but I got nothing. The t.v. sat around at my place for a good while. I decided about a week ago that I either had to trash it or try to fix it. I did some research online to figure out what was wrong with it and what seemed like the most obvious. thing was the power supply. I ordered one off of eBay and I replaced it. I thought it was going to be a hard thing to do but it was pretty simple. After I installed it I tried to turn it on and I got nothing, no power no lights nothing. I don’t know what to do now I thought it would atleast power on. I need help on what to do from here because I’m stumped. Thanks
@skinsfan use a multimeter and check the power board to make sure that you get power from the power cord. If so then check the button board as well as the main board. Post some images of your boards as well as the interconnect cables etc. That will allow us to see what you see and may help with diagnosing other issues. Adding images to an existing question
