I found an older Sansa Clip which will power on when connected to a USB charger or to the computer, but it won’t boot up or hold a charge. At one point the battery bar showed a strikethrough on it . Does anyone know of a way to replace or get this device to boot/charge?
Hi, Sounds as though the battery has failed and needs to be replaced. I couldn’t find a battery replacement guide for a Sansa Clip but here’s a video that shows how to replace the battery in a Sansa Clip+ which may help. Here’s a link to a supplier of the battery that may also help
