My Samsung WF42H5000 clicks off mid cycle at random times, sometimes during the very start of the cycle, or any time after, and then chimes back on and resumes the cycle. Most often it resumes where it left off and continues as if nothing happened. Sometimes it resets whatever part of the cycle it’s in back to the top of that section. It seems to get better if we let it sit for a long time without using it, then it has more trouble after running for about an hour and a half, either consecutive cycles or a heavy cycle. We’ve checked the drain, checked to see that it wasn’t that outlet, tried diagnostic mode (no codes come up), and tried to recalibrate the machine. What could this be? What else can I do to figure it out?

Hi @usersomeone , Hearing the “click” and going black and then coming on again may indicate that the power is being lost momentarily as there is a main relay on the control board which you may hear when it’s releasing / operating again. This could be due to loose connections being affected by the vibrations of the machine when it is operating. Intermittent power connections can cause all sorts of random problems to occur because they may happen at any time when the washer’s operating. Check for loose connections /dry solder joints etc from where the power cord enters the machine to where it terminates on the main circuit board and up to the relay on the board. Here’s the service manual for the washer which will help with the dis-assembly On p.36 of the manual you’ll find the schematic for the washer which should help to show where the power connections are. The power comes in at the Noise Filter shown in the bottom right of the schematic.
