Samsung UN60JS7000 turns on, but no picture (sound works). Flashlight test reveals no picture. When I disconnect the ribbon cable between main board and t-con board, the backlight comes on. Interesting…Any ideas?
Clinton Hughey since you do have backlight but no picture shown with the flashlight test , the issue appears to be a main board issue. There is always a chance that this is also the t-con board or the main panel (unlikely) Start with the least expensive one first. (T-con then main board)
