My Samsung UN60EH6050F is having a picture issue. I can hear the audio playing but all that is present is a very dark blue screen. I’m thinking either the backlight or T CON board from what I have read, but need more insight. It would not let me select my exact model the above tv is not mine.
Kristen Todd shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen If you can make out shapes etc. it is your backlight. You can of course also remove the back from your TV and take a look at the small openings in the metal to your LCD. If the backlight comes on, it will shine through those openings. You can also disconnect the mainboard from the power board and then turn your TV on. It should come one with the backlight only (no sound/no picture). If it is the backlight you will have to do some voltage measuring on the power board as well as the LED connector.
