the issue that I am experiencing is that the tv will not turn back on after being off for more than like 10 minutes. If I turn it off and then right back on, it’ll do so without a problem. However if it is left off over night or for even 30 minutes it will not turn back on. When this issue first started I was able to get it to turn back on by leaving it unplugged from the outlet for like 2 hours. I had to do this around once a week but now the issue happens every time I turn off the tv. Now the only way to get it to turn on is to unplug the main board from the power board for a few hours and it will then power on without a problem. however, sometimes it will not turn back on right away. Instead, the “smart TV” logo will flash a couple of times and then after doing that for like a minute it will then turn on. Once the tv is on, I experience no issues at all, the picture and sound are good. One thing i should add is that if there is ever a time where there is nothing on the screen, so just black, the tv will turn off and the red led indicator starts flashing.
I have ruled out that the issue is with the power board and main board because I have replaced both boards and the same issue still occurs. I also don’t think it’s the leds because if I power the tv on with the main board disconnected, the leds turn on. If I power the tv with the backlight disconnected, the tv will not turn on, it will just flash the smart tv logo. Any ideas on what it could be? Only thing left would be the led panel or the tcon boards.

How do I remove and reattach these gold ribbon cables?
Cam Cam Something is heating up, failing when heated up and closing the circuit gaian when cooling off. Do one thing for a test. REmvoe the back cover and disconnect the main board from the power board. The backlight should turn on. You should see the LED light through the holes in the back panel. Let us know if those come on. I am not convinced that this is an EEPROM issue since that would not behave the way your TV is behaving. If the backlight does come on and stays on than you know your backlight array is working as should. The only board to replace for now would be the T-con
hello @camcam it sound like you are having a possible eeprom issue on the mainboard. I understand that you just replaced both boards. I agree that the issue doesnt sound like the power supply as you have backlight without the mainboard plugged in. I dont believe it is the tcon board as your picture is fine when it powers up. i dont believe it to be the panel as it would present itself in a more precise way usually by giving bars or bands across the screen. typically, an eeprom going bad will prevent backlights from coming on. best way to test this is to look up where the the 8pin chip is on your particular mainboard and then pull up the data sheet on that particular chip and verify where the input and output voltages are for that chip. Then of course to take readings when it is and when it isnt working then compare. if you are uncomfortable working with live voltages, then dont. You do so at your own risk.
