Chosen Solution
TV was shutting off then back on intermittently. Then started happening at closer intervals. TV also turned itself on at least once or twice in the middle of the night. Replaced both main and power board. Now will not turn on. Can get it to turn on occasionally after it has been unplugged. Red light on control button flashes. Stays on for only a few minutes.
@scottiegirl take a look at the Jog switch/IR board. Going by your description it is possible that this is where your fault lies. You should measure 5V on that board. It’ll always help if you post some good pictures of all of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see.
