Need help troubleshooting. My samsung tv recently went half dark on the right side but also got some weird colors on the dark side. Did some test to show the screen. Hope someone cam give me some insights. I did try to remove the cables, clean and reattach from the tcon board.
@sethsy this could be an issue with the backlight array. I would definitely start with those. The color differences is what does not fit the backlight scenario and could be an issue with the panel. If it would be a main board or T-con board issue, you usually see a sharper, almost straight line division between good and bad color. Color itself usually changes or becomes faulty based on the Gamma IC on the T-con board. The way I would proceed is backlight, T-con board, main board and panel last (and hopefully not)
