Chosen Solution
My TV was acting weird where I was having difficulty selecting inputs and it kept switching to the free online TV. I turned it off and now I can not get it to turn on. When I turn it on the standby light comes on but when I hit the power button the standby light goes off and then comes back on. The TV will never turn on.
Hi @brantschr , Try the following just to isolate the problem further. Disconnect the power to the TV and then disconnect all the input connections. Remove the batteries from the remote control. Press and hold the power button on the back of the TV for a full 30 seconds and then release it. Reconnect the power to the TV and then turn it on using the TV power button and see if it turns on. If it turns on try navigating through the menus, inputs, channels etc to see if it goes smoothly. If so then try using the TV remote and see if that works OK too. Obviously there will be no display other than the menu/selection items due to no inputs. If it all seems to work OK turn off the TV and then connect an input to the TV, turn on the TV and see if that works OK. Do one at a time if more than one.
