Hi my samsung UE55RU7099UXZG tv doesnt want to sometimes turn on and the standby light will then blink, only way to fix it is to unplug it wait for a random amount of time sometimes all night, and then itll turn on, i was at first thinking hdmi lock, but ive changed channels before turning off devices. im thinking something wrong with the power supply board, in the next day or two i want to take the tv apart and check the power supply and the main board with my testers, but wanted to write here if anyone had an idea of where the problem may be, i can buy a new power board or mainboard if i knew which one was bad, but am going to see if its an easy fix or something before replacing the part. and does anyone know a good european place to get parts if i need to replace the entire mainboard or power supply?

samanthamcmullin08 start by trying to reset your TV. Disconnect every input sources like cable/Sat/BR/DVD/Game Console etc. Then disconnect the power cord from the outlet, and press and hold the power button on the TV (not the remote), for at least 10 seconds. Then wait a few minutes and plug the TV back in and connect the most common video input source you use i.e. cable TV and press power once. See if that resolved some of the issues. Intermittent errors are hard to diagnose an they can originate from bad cable boxes, sat boxes etc. as well. You need to rule that out first. If this did not change anything, remove the back cover from your TV and take a look at the boards. Your TV’s issue sound like bad MOSFET or overheating IC’.s Post some good pictures of your boards with your QUESTION so that we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
