My Samsung smart tv EU55F6500 will not start. The status led blinks twice and I hear two clicks, but no image nor sound. I have unplugged the tv. After plugging it back in, the status led remains red. When trying to switch it on, it goes back to 2 blinks and 2 clicks.

At first sight, nothing special to see on the psu board.

!!!!!!!!!CAUTION CAPICATORS could still hold a charge !!!!!!!!!!!The whole board might of died or a parts on the board………..IF you care for the TV that much ..check ebay for a powersupply board they might be fairly cheap ,Unforunatly we live in a throw away Society . When things go wrong with TVs we just buy another ,kinda sad ………GL

Hi @roel1 , I can’t find a service manual or schematic for the power board online but it seems as though there may be some known issues with it as there is a repair kit available for the board. If changing this many (or type) of components doesn’t appeal, search online for a replacement power board. Just search for BN44-00625C L55X1QV_DSM to get results for suppliers that suit you. Given the number of components in the repair kit it looks like a section of the board has been redesigned (components may have different specifications, I don’t know), unless they are just replacing all the components that may lead to the failure of QP801C or QP802CS, as all the components have board designations in the same range which usually indicates the same general area on a board

a voltage reading from a pin[test point] in a power supply board that is lower than the marked value usually indicates a bad capacitor. this capacitor is connected between the pin and common ground[-],usually electrolytic. try replacing this capacitor with the same capacitance and voltage ratings.
