Hi there my Tv is completly dead. No standby light whats of ever. I already check voltage on power pcb
and on standby pin is nothing. But on “ power on" pin is 5v which os not coming thru to main board. I check all diodes on power pcb and they seems to be ok. Same with recti bridge. But I found one suspicious thing like unsolder pin (
). Also on t-con board one pin is missing not sure if it has to be like this.
I havent got big knowledge about fault finding. Help please. Update (07/05/2020) On this thing with unsoldier pin and missing pad all 4 legs has 102v on input but this unsoldier just 4v on output.
Update (07/05/2020) Ok seems like this pin shoudnt be even connected-.- Update (07/05/2020) Ok I was tracing 5v standby from standby pin and found this I edited photo with voltages. So there is n- channel transistor between pin and 5v source. And on his leg voltage is 0v. It means thats faulty? I was checkin o diode mode and other side has voltage drop but this doesnt.
Hi, Usually the 5V standby voltage is sent to the mainboard and it is the mainboard that turns on the Standby light when it gets this power. Also if there is this Standby power when the TV is turned on, the mainboard signals on the PS-On lead to turn the power board on full output so that it supplies all the power necessary for the backlights and the rest of the boards etc. Looking at the images you posted it appears that the power board is a BN44-00357A. Here’s the schematics for the power board. This should help to find out why there is no 5V standby voltage.
