Samsung TV - Most of the screen has dimmed! Hi everyone! I hope you can help me with this one. My father is bedridden and loves TV…well he doesn’t have anything else in his life :( Unfortunately his TV has now dimmed and only a small part of it remained bright. Please see below links: FAULT:

@rz82 that looks like a backlight issue. Take the back of and check the power boards for bad capacitors. Look for domed or leaking ones. Post some images of all of your boards with your question. Use this guide for that. It is of course also possible that it is the LED strips (backlight) that has failed, but we can check that later.
