I am looking to replace the AV board on my Samsung TV Model number is LE40R88BD and serial number is LE40R88BDX/XED. I have also got the BN number from the part, however I am struggling to find one that matches the BN number on the AV board I currently have. Does this have to be the same or can does it just need to be compatible with the serial/model number?
@rmacd2011 it really should be the same board. Even minor variation in the version numbers on the board can become a compatibility issue. The most likely reason why it is difficult to find a replacement is that there have been error with the version that your TV has. Demand for replacement boards exceeded the production. Sometimes you can find places that repair your boards other times you can try a newer version for as long as the connectors etc. are still in the same position etc. It’s a bit of a gamble
