Today i noticed a blue patch on the left side of my TV That same side has hand prints which is caused by the kids and it’s everywhere on the TV but the blue patch is only on the left side so i’m not sure if they’re the reason behind it or not So what’s the cause of this and what action should be taken to fix it? I bought it back in Nov 2016 and it’s probably out of warranty now.
@ciphar could be pressure marks or a backlight issue. Either one of those would require a total disassembly of the LCD panel etc. At this time I would suggest you leave it alone and get somewhat used to it. A repair will most likely cost more than a new TV and is somewhat difficult.
