Chosen Solution
After turn-on by remote control TV for a while shows beginning picture on the screen and then it restarts again and again with clicks. Remote control not working. I must unplugg TV manually. I was trying to run it without connection with other devices (computer, DVD etc.) but without success. Model: UE40F6500SSXXH. SAMSUNG.
My Samsung tv started turning off and on on its own. I disconnected the Wi-Fi and it seems to have stopped.
I would be looking at a problem with the power supply. There are a few voltages required for proper operation: 1) Main power (likely to be 12V) to start the majority of the TV and 2) 5V which will cover the logic portion of the boards. There are fail-safes built in that will shutdown the TV if the voltages drop too far. Also, once the 5V line drops too far, the CPU can get confused and all bets are off… If you are not comfortable with opening up the set, have a service individual provide you with an estimate. You may find that changing a few parts on the power supply board will fix the problem. Dan
I took off the bag plate on my tv and the turning on and off by it self stopped so now im using it without the plate xD
