The repair people replaced a board about a month ago. It had squealed then for most of a day, then two days later quit cooling. Now it is squealing continuously…sometimes like a screech sometimes like a warble…always very loud, but it is cooling. I think it’s the fan motor, but I have to wait for home warranty contractor to come to service. Any thoughts?
Yep, probably a broken fan motor or broken fan blades (unlikely it is the blades). I don’t know anything else that has a motor besides the water pump for the water dispenser/ice machine.
