Follow-up from: Purple spots on samsung led 48 I also have a 2014 Samsung which broke after 3-4 years… I was sure no one can fix it until today.
Looking for new TVs I found this by chance, a shop selling replacements LED and their video instructions on how to replace them. My model is UE55H6670STXXU.

@rumburake don’t buy a new one. Give this one a try. That video is going to help you with it for sure. All of these are fundamentally the same. The bigger issue is the size of the panel. Yours being a 55 inch panel, you want to make sure you got some extra hands. You don’t ever want to flex the panel since that could destroy it which would be pretty much the end of this repair. Just take your time and make sure you have enough room. It is not a terrible complicated repair. It’s also a lot cheaper than a new TV and will keep this one out of the landfill:-)
