Hi, I have been using a samsung monitor that I got from a second hand electronics store, and I unplugged it last night to move it, and when I plugged it back in, the light underneath the samsung logo did not turn on. I have already left it unplugged for 30 seconds, tried different outlets, and nothing happened. If I could get some help on this, that would be great. Thanks. Hi @nagi0e No standby power light is indicative of a power problem. You would need to open the TV (remove the stand and back cover) and inspect the power board for any obvious component damage e.g. blown AC input fuse, bulging or leaking capacitors, burnt out components etc. If the AC input fuse is blown then there is always a reason why a fuse blows so you may have to delve further into the circuit because the chances are if you just replace it, that it will blow again straightaway. I couldn’t find a free service manual or schematic online which would definitely be a great help but have found this supplier of the manual, that can be purchased and downloaded. If you decide to open it and can’t see anything obvious, post some images of the power board (or the board where the power cord connect to) and hopefully others may see something that you can’t.
