Hi my Samsung UE48JU6475 TV isn’t working. Suddenly there came a single vertical line in the middle of the screen. After 15min it went completely black with no backlight. There is sound coming from the speakers, and the standby light seems to be working. I checked the power board and standby voltage is steady 9v and 13v when its powered on. Cant see the menu with a flashlight. I forced it in forced backlight by removing the cable going from the the power board to the main board. And then the back lights Is working fine. Could it still be the power board, t-con or the main board. Any suggestions please? Regards
Rasmus K Hansen this sounds more like a mainboard or T-con board issue. It does not sound like a power board issue since you get backlight function when you separate the main board. It is the main board that tells the powerboard to turn on the backlight (simplified) So at this point I would replace main board first followed by T-con board (check the fuse on the T-con board and see if you have 12V going to it). Let us know what you find.
