Nederlands antwoorden mag ook, maar ik wou het veralgemenen en schreef het in het engels. Hello everyone, I recently got a TV from a friend wich he wanted to throw away because it had a malfunction. Because I’m not really one of the “throw it away” type of men, I decided to try and give it a second life. Now I’ve ran into a problem, I noticed that the Red Power Light continuously keeps blinking, I’ve started reading about it alot and I noticed people talk about broken capacitors, I opened the backside of the TV and went to take a close look to each individual capacitors on the first sight there is nothing wrong with them I don’t see any damaged capacitors nor blown up/leakening. Any suggestions what it might be? Pictures of the TV model:

@herblore this could be a multitude of things. the constant blinking (no pattern) is indicative of an error with the power management system. The quickest way to test is by disconnecting the main board from the power supply board, plug in the power supply board, after that you should see some lights in the screw holes if the power supply is good. If you do not, then you can either move on to the mainboard. Worst case scenario would be a bad panel, which can also cause this error. Not quite sure if the images you posted were originally that small but whatever happened, I cannot make out much. Try to post some more at a higher resolution. Let us know if you have access to a multimeter so you can measure some things. Of course, a bad capacitor is always a possibility as well:-)
- Check the various cable connections first.
- Check to see if there is a burnt or damaged cable.
- Check to see if there is a disconnected cable connection or a connection is too loose.
- Check to see if the cables are connected according to the connection diagram.
- Check the power input to the Main Board.
- Check the voltage in and out between the SMPS Main Board and the Main LVDS Boards.
Remove batteries from remote control. If blinking stops the remote is defective.
