I recently purchased a replacement screen for my samsung infuse i997. I installed it and it powered up, and the home, back menu, and search buttons work. But the touchscreen will not respond
Jeremy, always double check your work, make sure all connections are properly made and cables are properly seated. If none of that works, you may have gotten a bad assembly. Return it and replace it once more. this is not uncommon. Of course, this is only if the touchscreen worked before you replaced the assembly. Since you did not tell us why you replaced the original, I can only assume that it did work.
