Dryer tumbles, drys but a continuing straining capacitor noise followed by a click cycles about every minute towards the end of the cycle. Update (11/06/2021) Okay so I replaced the Gas Valve Coils and Thermostat: problem is solved. The coils were the problem but I bought the thermostat ans was there. I did the work without removing the drum. It was a 2 out of 5 in difficulty, but watch the edges of the cabinet they are sharp.
@wilblu I don’t know that model by try getting into the diagnostic mode and check for any errors etc. I realize that this is not your model but based on what it says here it may be the same procedure, i.e. it states that the service manual is the same as for a DV220 model (see the Caution Note in the image in this link) Here’s a link to the fast track troubleshooting guide for your model which may help. It has the wiring diagram for the gas model on p.2
