Hi guys. I am wondering if there is a Samsung Galaxy S8 broken screen data recovery that can extract data from Galaxy S8. My S8 was dropped and the screen is not responsive now. How to extract the data?
In order to extract the data from a smartphone, you need to go into the phone and enable file transfers. Unfortunately, you need a working screen for this. In a pinch, you can try: Replace the screen with a new one and perform the data transferDownload the files from cloud storage (hopefully you had data sync turned on)Download a free file recovery software (like “Recuva” or “Ibeesoft") to your computer, attach your phone via USB, and try to have the recovery software search your phone for files to transfer, if it can.Contact a professional data recovery service like Secure Data Recovery or Gillware.
I’m sure I’ve said this before but that program simply doesn’t work for a blank screen. It wants the phone in USB mode (if I remember correctly) and you can’t do that if you can’t see the screen. Replacing the screen was NOT on the list of things to do. It cost too much.
Thank you, I finally made it. I connected a screen to my samsung, the touch was still working so it was a werid way to fix, guessing keys to hit.. but now its done thanks
Unless you have those things saved to the cloud, you need to get into the system. If you did have things backed up, it’s way easier, just go to where you have your stuff saved and recover it. Google Photos and Drive work with iPhone, and you can get your contacts if you had them saved on some account as well.
