I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW in Cloud Red, Model number SM-G781V. Is this part compatible with my phone (link to iFixit Shop below)? Samsung Galaxy S20 5G (USA Verizon) Screen and Battery - this appears to be for model number SM-G981V. I can’t find any info on whether this part is compatible with the phone model I have. Both are “Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G” phones, but I want to be sure before buying this part. I can’t find info anywhere else… Thanks
Hi @runlevelsix Check what the battery model number is in your phone. The battery shown in the ifixit replacement screen/battery link you posted has model number EB-BG981ABA You are correct that it is confusing as this video for a Galaxy S20 FE 5G (no phone model variant number shown) shows that the battery model number is EB-BG781ABY which is also shown here for an SM-G781V model. Here are some images of both the batteries showing their model numbers
