I have a Samsung Galaxy A50 that is working and responds when I do a force restart. However the screen flickers and stays black. How can I fix it?
Going to need a screen - the AMOLED panel broke, but not the glass from the way you described it. Yeah; this is far more common then it used to be since the glass is now stronger then an AMOLED panel, so when it breaks from a drop the glass survives but not the phone. The problem with Samsung is the cost of a display can be 40-50% of an entire used phone, so it often isn’t worth repairing.
