I have an A12 from my friend with some water damage that I have been trying to fix, they said they dropped it in a bucket of water and soap while cleaning. At the time, the screen turned off but they were still receiving notifications and calls, they just couldn’t interact because the screen wouldn’t turn on so they let the battery die to stop the noise. I opened the phone to clean it, but didn’t see much. A little water at the bottom charging area but the top motherboard was fine, no indication of liquid up there. Soft resets (holding the power + volume buttons) was unresponsive. I tried replacing the screen, battery and charging board from parts I got through unlockr.ca. The phone is still unresponsive. I do have all the original parts still if they’re needed. Any suggestions?

Try putting the original battery back, keep the new screen and charger port. Let us know what happens when you charge If it was on but no screen display, the screen was evidently the issue. Now you have replaced the battery, it isn’t responding at all. Try and put the original battery back in
