Samsung Galaxy A12 with black screen that is responsive. Clicking power button whilst on causes back lights to come on. When a call is received, the accept or decline screen for the call does show and allow for call to be accepted or declined. When holding power button, the pop up showing the power off or restart option shows and allows you to press to power off or restart. Phone does seem to charge ok. Have tried restarting to no avail. This is a weird one for me, as usually a black screen would mean nothing working but in this instance the call page when receiving a call and the power pop up do show. Any ideas on issue or solution? Update (12/13/2022) Fixed the issue. Seemed like it was a software issue. The phone was not turning off as it was locked. Didnt realise till overnight when it kept vibrating from notifications when it was supposed to be off. Did the power and volume down to get it to turn off. On turning on, it was fine.
