My Samsung refridgerator model # RF265BEAESR/AA makes ice no problem just won’t dispense the water or ice through the door. I check continuity in the glass paddle switch , its good. The door switch continuity is good also (checked with multimeter). I can toggle between the ice and water selections on the dispenser and shut off the dispenser by holding for 3 seconds, also the light works fine on the dispenser. And have change the water filter with a new Samsung water filter. What else could it be?
From what I’ve found, external dispensers won’t work with the door open. Check and make sure the door switch recognizes when the door is closed. There’s also a few locks that could be stopping it from dispensing. Check https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answe… to see how to deactivate them.if they’re on.
