I have a Samsung French Door Refrigerator / Freezer. The temperature is reading -8 degrees F but the actual freezer temp is +20 F. I replaced the sensor but still doing the same. Refrigerator is holding temp at 34 Degrees F. Any thoughts?
Hi @tommylam143 , Looking at the parts for the refrigerator, it has an evaporator unit in both the refrigerator section (part #19) and the freezer section (part #14-6). Is the evaporator unit in the freezer compartment icy cold? Be careful if you go to touch it with your bare hands. If not there is a problem in the sealed system. How old is the refrigerator? According to the owner manual (see p.37) there is a Five (5) Years Parts and Labor Warranty on Sealed Refrigeration System Only* (*Compressor,evaporator,condenser,drier,connecting tubing)
