Hello, I have a Samsung RH25H5611SR side by side fridge. Right now, the ice maker is not dispensing ice. I have checked and it appears that there is Ice in the ice mold, but it is not getting dumped into the ice tray. I have unplugged the fridge and plugged it back in. I have also pressed the reset button. When pressed, i only hear one “ding dong” tone, and that is is it. The tempurture is 2 degrees F. Water is dispensed from the dispenser when activated so I know the water supply is good. What should I do from here? Thank you for your kind advice. -Stephen
If your ice maker is making ice but not dumping it, it is likely a bad connection (on the end of the ice maker once you get it removed, under a panel) or a bad heating element. The heating element warms up to allow the ice to dump. If this is broken your cubes will form but will stay in the ice tray.
